GOVERNATIVE PALACE – QATAR

This imposing and austere building, designed to accommodate delegations and state guests, is the result of a careful restoration and renovation of an existing building, aimed at consolidating its structures and transforming it into a representative residence characterised by high levels of luxury and comfort. The rooms exude a strong sense of monumentality, defined by stucco walls, richly decorated ceilings, trompe l’oeil, gold leaf and paintings that interact with architectural elements of great value.

The floors in selected marbles, Giallo Siena, Calacatta and Sodalite, enhance the custom-designed mosaics, while refined fabrics, precious woods and inlaid furnishings contribute to creating an atmosphere of refined opulence. In this decorative context, the crystal chandeliers and wall lights by G. Moscatelli stand out as the protagonists of the room: true scenographic elements that frame the ceilings and amplify the brightness of the rooms, completing the elegant and solemn identity of the residence.
