LIGHT, INNOVATION AND CULTURAL VISION

In the international design and lighting scene, Euroluce 2013 proved to be one of the most important events for the sector. Held from 9 to 14 April 2013 at the Fiera Milano Rho-Pero exhibition centre, the biennial lighting exhibition was part of the 52nd edition of the Salone del Mobile Milan, a global stage where technology, art and design meet and interact.

With thousands of exhibitors and visitors from over 160 countries, Euroluce offered an overview of the main innovations in the world of lighting, presenting products and solutions in which technological innovation, sustainability and visual comfort are integrated with formal experimentation and contemporary languages.

The event featured some of the most influential names in international design, from major brands with architectural and design collections to more experimental proposals and creative interpretations of emerging materials and technologies.

For G. Moscatelli, a historic Milanese manufacturer of classic luxury lighting since 1926, Euroluce 2013 represents a fundamental step in the reflection on the cultural and design trajectories of lighting. While maintaining a strong identity linked to Italian craftsmanship and quality materials, the evolution of the language of lighting proposed by the biennial highlights the importance of a continuous dialogue between design history and innovation.
