A LUXURY WAY: THE HERITAGE OF THE PAST TO FORWARD IT INTO THE FUTURE
During the Salone del Mobile 2025 in Milan, French architect Pierre-Yves Rochon presented Villa Héritage, a site-specific installation exploring the dialogue between historical memory and contemporary innovation in interior design, hosted in Halls 13-15 of the fair.
The installation, part of the exhibition itinerary A Luxury Way, is an immersive project in which light, forms, materials, and atmospheres evoke the continuity between past and present in the world of living. Villa Héritage is not just an exhibition space, but a place for multisensory reflection on the aesthetic and cultural function of design.
The participation of G. Moscatelli, a historic Milanese company that has been producing classic luxury chandeliers since 1926, underscores the company’s commitment to promoting the value of lighting as an element of culture and design, as well as an object of quality craftsmanship.
In contexts such as Villa Héritage, the role of light becomes a symbol of continuity with Italian tradition and an essential narrative tool to convey aesthetic identity and memory in contemporary design.
This presence reinforces the vision of G. Moscatelli as a protagonist of classic Italian design and testifies to its constant participation in the main international events of the sector, where light and manufacturing quality become universal languages to tell the excellence of Made in Italy in the world.
